INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION

Refers to communication that centers on one person where the speaker acts

INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION

(CONTEXTUAL)
Communication between and among people and establishes personal
relationship between and among them.

C. PUBLICATION COMMUNICATION
D. Sends message before or in front of group

MASS COMMUNICATION

Communication that takes place in a form of media.

TYPES OF SPEECH STYLES

1. INTIMATE
a. Style is private
2. CASUAL
a. Common among peers
3. FROZEN
a. “Frozen” in time; remains unchanged
4. CONSULTATIVE
a. Standard; professional or mutually acceptable
5. FORMAL
a. Used in formal setting; One-way
