2. Synchronous:
Synchronous learning refers to instructors and students gathering at the same time
and (virtual or physical) place and interacting in “real-time”.
 Asynchronous Learning:
Flexibility: is one of the main benefits of asynchronous learning. Students are able to use the
course materials and engage in activities at their own convenience and speed. This helps those
who have hectic schedules since it makes it possible for them to manage work, family, and
school.
Self-Paced: Students can review and revisit material at their own speed using asynchronous
learning. Because they can go over the contents more than once, this is helpful for students who
need more time to grasp concepts.
Global Reach: Students from many time zones and regions can participate in asynchronous
learning. It accommodates a wide range of participants who might not be able to coordinate their
schedules because of time or location restrictions.
