II. Session Outline
Session Title Public order and safety when visiting different tourist spots in
CALABARZON.
Session Objectives At the end of the lesson, learners should be able to:
1. Identify and give examples of different types of matter that can
be found in different tourist spots in CALABARZON
2. Promote and appreciate the importance of safety when visiting
different tourist spots in CALABARZON.
3. Engage in activities and programs that contributes to public
order and safety.

Activity: Tourist Destinations Matters
 While the students are watching the
video, they must write the names of
different tourist spots in CALABARZON
mentioned in their Catch-Up Friday
journal notebook.
 Based on the video, students will provide
two examples for each state of matter
(solid, liquid, and gas).
Concept Exploration 10 minutes  Students will analyze the pictures that will
be presented by the teacher.

Mountain Trail or Hiking rules

 The students will answer the processing


questions:
 Based on the pictures presented,
what are the rules we should follow?
 Are there common rules to be
observe when visiting beaches and
mountains?
 Why should we follow these rules?
Valuing 10 minutes Activity: Yep! or Nah!
 Students will silently read the scenarios
and respond with a "Yep" if they agree or
a "Nah" if they disagree. They need to
explain their answer.
1. Follow the trail path when mountain hiking.
2. Bring drinks in the beach water area.
3. Pick up litters while having a nice walk
along the shoreline.
4. Be quite while taking a stroll inside the
forest.
5. Swim as far away as possible from the
shore to get your money’s worth.
Journal Writing 10 miutes Activity: Share to Care
 In their Journal Notebook the students
will discuss their vacation experiences
and reminisce about the guidelines they
adhered to during that time.
 They must also answer the question:
“What is the importance of adhering to
rules?”
