1) Draw XY line

2) Draw top view vertical square prism (a,b,c,d) with side of 30 mm in such a way that its faces
equally inclined to V.P.Transfer this point in front view height 60 mm & name the point
a’,b’,c’,d’ & also draw side view of vertical square prism with point name a”,b”,c”,d”.
3) Draw a line 1-1 in the top view parallel to XY line & 10 mm in front of the prism .Project this
line in the front view as 1’-1’ & at the centre height.
4) Line 1-1 is piercing rectangular faces of vertical prism on left side at p1 & right side q1 as
shown in the top view.
5) Project this point in front view as p1’ & q1’ on the line 1’-1’.
6) Line 1-1 is seen as a point in the side view thereforep1’’& q1’’will appear at the same point
in the side view.
