Currently, in order to restart operation of the former Hanjin Heavy Industries shipyard site located in Subic, PI pines, we are preparing to contract with Hyundai Heavy Industries for maintenance work to repair and normalize the factory, which is scheduled to begin in January 2024. During discussions for the normal operation of the shipyard, Hyundai Heavy Industries reviewed the construction of a local carbon di ide plant in relation to the stable supply of carbon dioxide gas. As a result of reviewing the local situation in the Philippines, the plan to build a carbon dioxide plant through a power plant was reviewed and a proposal was submitted. submitted. After collecting CO2 from the tail gas generated after power generation in a thermal power plant, the remaining gas is returned to the power plant exhaust stack and discharged into the atmosphere. Thermal power plants are capable of dramatically reducing carbon emissions and stably releasing return gas into the atmosphere due to recovered CO2, and carbon dioxide plants produce industrial liquefied carbon dioxide through purification and liquefaction processes using collected CO2 as raw material, which is produced by Hyundai Heavy Industries Subic. We aim to contribute to the development of the Philippine shipbuilding industry by providing supplies that enable stable operations at shipyards.
