Proposed Methodology

India’s population is on the rise. Skills and employability are not at par for all
students. Hence a lot of students (youth and women) remain jobless even after
successfully completing graduation/post graduation in Science/Arts or Diploma/
ITI and such other courses.

New jobs need to be created and parallel employability skills need to be

improved. COVID-19 has worsened the employment indicators in India.

The Female Labour Force Participation Rate (FLFPR) has declined over the years
and is one-third to that of men.

Female LFPR = 1/3 OF Male LFPR

Cause of concern

Potential loss of 0.7 Trillion Dollars by 2025

UNDP has been using innovative approaches to support Women’s Economic

Empowerment. Hence, launching a new project: Driving Economic Empowerment
for Women and Youth (DEEWY).

The project starts from Bhopal and Indore in Madhya Pradesh. The interventions
will work towards

 Increased Awareness
 Enhancing Profitability
 Facilitation of Linkages with Employers
 Exposure to the world of work
“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career.

I’ve lost almost 300 games.

26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed.

I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life.

And that is why I succeed.” – Michael Jordan

“A good coach can change a game…….

…….A great coach can change a life.”

John Wooden

Coach / Trainer are the one who needs to understand the students and
implement his plan accordingly. It’s like SWOT analysis.

Over the years, we at PIONEER have experienced that right kind of intervention at
the right can make huge difference in a student’s career.
We have experienced and even most of the people would have experienced that
some children are quick learner and others need some hand holding. Self learners
find their way out to reach their objectives, but the concern is for the ones ho
require some hand holding. If they get these interventions at the right time in
their career, they can shine even brighter than the Self Learners. But if they don’t
get any kind of intervention, they can go into their shell and their progression as
Human Being can take a downturn. All the hidden talent goes for a waste. More
importantly a LIFE NOT LIVED HAPPILY.

The kind of trauma one faces if he/she has to sit idle at home even after
completing their graduation or ITI or other chosen courses is detrimental for
Youth and women. You carry your own burden and burden of your degree
certificate. This needs to be addressed by these kind of interventions.
