 GLANS- Tip of the penis


 PROSTATE GLAND- located between the bladder and the penis.
 COWPER’S GLAND- responsible in releasing fluid that flushes out
foreign matter and neutralizes the acidic urine in the urethra.
 VAS DEFERENS- connects the testes to the seminal vesicle and
urethra.
 SEMINAL VESICLE- part of the male reproductive system is a
sac-like pouch attached to the vas deferens.
 OVIDUCTS- connect the ovaries to the uterus.
 VAGINA- parts of the female reproductive system called the birth
canal.
 START OF MENSTRUATION- period of life do a girl is already capable of
reproduction.
 Once a month an egg cell mature and leaves the ovary.
 Start of menstruation is a sign that a girl is capable of being pregnant.
 Menstrual flow takes place when ovulation happens.
 ZYGOTE- fertilized egg
 DOG- organism undergoes the canine “heat” cycle.
 FROG- animal reproduces sexually by laying eggs in water.
 FERTILIZATION- process takes place when a sperm cell fuses with
an egg cell.
 GOAT- looks like its parent-animal when born alive.
 Fishes/Frogs produce thousands of offspring to maintain the
population of every species
 STAMEN- male part of a flower
 PISTIL- female part of a flower
 OVARY- part of a flower has a swollen structure at the end of the
style.
 ANTHER- part of the flower which consists of two lobes that
contain pollen sac and pollen grain.
 BULB- an underground stem where the leaves are attached.
 RHIZOME- plant part is situated either at the soil surface or
underground that contains nodes from which roots and shoots
originate
 NATURAL VEGETATIVE REPRODUCTION- an asexual
reproduction which is through structural modification in the stem,
root, or leaf of herbaceous or woody plant
 SUMMER SQUASH- plant can cross-pollinate
 ARTIFICIAL VEGETATIVE REPRODUCTION- methods used to
improve the quality and production of plants.
 POMELO- fruit tree that did not undergo cross pollination.

 ONIONS- It grows from big bulbs made of a stem and has special
type of leaves.
 CROSS- POLLINATION- the most common method of pollination.
 BAMBOO- a kind of plant that reproduces by spreading
underground and growing new shoots.
 CROSS- POLLINATION- type of pollination happens when pollen
grains are transferred from the anther of a flower to the stigma of
another flower that belongs to another plant but of the same kind.
 KATAKATAKA- It is a kind of plant that develops small plants
along the edge of its leaves.
 How do coral reefs contribute to the survival of fishes
fishes get food and shelter from coral reefs
 How do organisms use the areas under the mangrove trees
