For every big decision,we take time to decide only to end up being disappointed, more

so if we didn't think about it. That's why, knowing the advantages and disadvantages of

GAS aids our decision-making to be more informed about our choices. There are two

main advantages of choosing GAS as a specialization. First, when you get a general

overview of other academic strands that will make you prepared to enter any degree

programs. Secondly, GAS gives senior high school students exposure to a variety of

different subjects, allowing them to explore each one to see which will be the best fit for

them. Now for the disadvantages, GAS students will have a bit problem catching up with

the lessons, because it doesn't focuses in one particular subject. That's why, many

students prefer to study in other schools that offer many strand such as Humanities and

Social Science (HUMSS), Technical Vocational Livelihood (TVL), Science, Technology,

Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), Information and Communication Technology (ICT),

and sports track instead of staying here where we only have ABM and GAS.
Though there are disadvantages in taking up GAS but it still really helpful in identifying

your strengths and weaknesses that will prepare yourself towards college.
