Vice President for Academic Affairs

Ma’am:

Greetings of Goodwill!

Pursuant to the Republic Act No. 11131 or the Philippine Criminology Profession Act of 2018
as amended, to pass the licensure examination for criminologists, a candidate must obtain a
weighted average rating of seventy-five percent (75%) with no grade less than sixty percent
(60%) in any given subject. This new policy in the board examination for criminologists gave
extra burden to our criminology students and graduates who are soon to take the
examination. Not only that but our educational system was also affected by the pandemic
which caused our students and graduates to suffer academic problems and many more.
Thus, the undersigned came up with an intervention to help and guide our students and
graduates to pass this new trend in the board examination for criminologists by offering a
comprehensive appraisal review program.

In this regard, the undersigned would like to ask for your permission and approval to
undergo our criminology graduates and graduating students to a comprehensive appraisal
review program. This review program will cover all the subjects under CHED’s revised
curriculum in criminology pursuant to CHED Memorandum No. 5, series of 2018.

Attached here is the Pool of Lecturers and their Qualifications, Review Schedule and Mock
Board Examination, and Review Fee and Inclusion.

I am hoping for your approval and recommendation.

Thank you very much and more power.

Respectfully yours;

RENOR N. APELA, RCrim, MAEd, MSCJ, CSP, Ph.D. (units)
