At Hebbevu we follow Ancient Indian style farming.


It is a good example of a mixed farm. We grow a
range of cereal crops, look after cattle, sheep, and
manage natural grassland with woods. Since 2017, the
farm has been run as an organic farm. This means that
we do not use any artificial chemicals or fertilizers.

Throughout the year, Hebbevu looks after a large


herd of nearly 550+ cattle. The cattle graze outside
in the summer but are moved inside for the winter.

Farming today is not just about growing crops and


keeping animals, farmers have an important role in
looking after the countryside. Hebbevu is keen to
maintain the natural environment on our farm.
