EmSAT General Information

• The EmSAT test is computerized.

• The test has 50 multiple-choice questions to be solved in 120 minutes.

• The test clock is visible at all time to test takers.

• Formulas and constants are available during the test through a link.

• The use of calculator is allowed, take good scientific calculator with you to the test.

• The score range is: 500 ≤ score ≤ 1500+

• Forces and Newton’s laws of motion.
• Solving problems using Newton’s laws.

• Work and energy.
• Energy conservation.
• Assessment 3

Materials for the course
The course is interactive, and problem-solving is a core component of it.
In every session you should have with you the following items:
• Scientific calculator (suggestion: CASIO fx-991ES PLUS)
• Some means of writing: pen or pencil, copybooks or tablets as you prefer.
• Laptop or tablet: activities can be followed even with just a smartphone,
but that’s not recommended.
