Dear Ms Acton,

Job Reference: Wedding and Events Coordinator

I am writing to apply for the wedding and events coordinator job vacancy advertised on Reed

within the events industry and have relevant experience suitable for this role.

I am drawn to working for Carolyn Acton Events because of the range of events that take place
within the company. My biggest passion is to work for a wedding company and as your
organisation creates bespoke weddings as well as events such as baby showers, parties and
corporate events I feel this is the best area I can put my experience and knowledge to good use.

I am currently a second-year student studying Event Management at Oxford Brookes University. I

feel working for your company would help me expand my experience and knowledge within this
sector as well as working a job in an area I am most passionate in.

I believe I meet the requirements for the job due to the skills I have gained previously through past
jobs and work at university. For over two years I have worked for an events company that has
shaped my confidence for this field and given me experience working within weddings and ticketed
events and what is needed to ensure the event is delivered to a high standard. I thoroughly enjoy
this as I love making sure customers are enjoying each event they attend and making sure it
exceeds their expectations. During university, I have gained experience with digital marketing and
using event programmes such as Microsoft Project. This has helped develop my skills and
therefore feel I will be suitable due to my extensive knowledge in these areas.

With my passion and motivation for this line of work, I would be a great fit for this role due to my
eye for detail and hardworking attitude developed from the experience I have gained through
education and working in the industry. I will be able to bring a great skill set to your company and

have and ensures I will be able to work with co-workers and clients in a professional manner. I am
determined to make every event I am part of a huge success from every decision I make.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours sincerely,

Maisie McCusker-Boon
