The Role;
We are seeking an experienced Principal/Senior Data Scientist to join our Innovation Team.
This individual will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions,
with a primary focus on AI Conversational Agents. The successful candidate will collaborate
closely with R&D engineers within the Innovation Team and work collaboratively with the
broader engineering organisation.

Key Responsibilities;
AI Conversational Agents:
 Lead the development and enhancement of AI Conversational Agents, leveraging
your expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs).
 Design and implement algorithms to improve natural language understanding and
generation within conversational systems.
Research and Development:
 Stay abreast of the latest advancements in NLP and LLMs to bring innovative
solutions to the team.
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute on the research
agenda for the Innovation Team.
Collaboration:
 Work closely with R&D engineers within the Innovation Team to integrate data
science solutions into ongoing projects.
 Collaborate with the wider engineering organization to ensure alignment and
consistency in adopting data science methodologies.
Communication:
 Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-
technical stakeholders.
 Present findings, insights, and progress updates to the team and leadership.
Project Management:
 Take ownership of the AI Conversational Agents project, ensuring timely delivery and
meeting project goals.
 Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and
deliverables.

Key Requirements;
 Education: Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
 Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on NLP and LLMs.
 Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art language models (e.g., GPT, BERT, etc.).
 Experience in AI Conversational Agents is highly desirable.
 Proficient in programming languages such as Python and relevant libraries
(TensorFlow, PyTorch).
 Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and natural language
processing.
 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
 Strong verbal and written communication skills.
 Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
 Location: EU-based, preferably in Croatia, or within the EU with the same time zone.
