INTRODUCTION

Security barriers on the campus keep students and employees safe from any harm. It
plays an important role in protecting our premises. Acting as the first line of defense, they’re a
straightforward and cost-effective way to control people that may enter your site.

In addition to that, Security guards at school are known to ensure the campus’ safety.
They maintain the safety and peacefulness of the school’s environment as violence at school
could result in hindering the growth or progress of the students and could as well affect their
personalities. There are several reasons why security guards are being appointed in schools,
including:

• Prevent strangers from gaining unauthorized access to the campus.

• Provide the students and the employees with a better sense of security on campus.

• Add a sense of heightened awareness and;

• Create a safe business environment.

On the 14th day of October, group 4 conveyed a study in FLORENCIO VARGAS

COLLGE NEW SITE. This project will talk about how security barriers avert anyone thinking of
unauthorized entry and sustain the safety ness of the campus.

Through conveying this study and how FLORENCIO VARGAS COLLEGE NEW SITE
nurtures safeness since we are not familiar with the structure/barriers of the campus we took
pictures to be studied in order for us to be aware of the security barriers that FLORENCIO
VARGAS COLLEGE NEW SITE has.

This is the Florencio Vargas College New site's facade. When we arrive on campus,
we can already make out the school's fences.

The fire extinguisher is situated next to the first floor where the security guards reside
so that they may quickly utilize it in an emergency.

The extra security from the windows and glass doors gives the school staff more time
to activate any safety protocols to better protect the students and staff inside.

The building's third story is where the railings are positioned. This is to prevent us
from tripping and falling.

A security guard was on duty as we arrived on campus, responsible for monitoring

students entering and exiting the building.

Railings provide stability, which is especially important for students, teachers, and
others. Some people like to lightly graze railings with their hands just in case they
need extra support or balance.

When used on higher floors to deter thieves from entering, this classroom window
poses certain security and safety hazards.

In the campus, the exit and entrance are also seen as barriers. One security guard has
been assigned to watch that area continuously.

RECOMMENDATION
Creating safe, orderly and welcoming learning environment is critical to educating and
preparing the youth to achieve their highest potentials and contribute to society. We must
acknowledge the importance of policies and practices that make our communities safer as well.
School safety and positive school climate are not achieve by singular actions but rather by
effective comprehensive and collaborative efforts requiring the dedication and commitment of all
school staff, security officers and relevant community members. It is everyone’s responsibility
and school should remind stakeholders of their respective roles in promoting school safety and
security.
To ensure the students’ safety and security, security officers should set patrol posts at the
school’s surrounding lookout points and around the campus to build a security network, and to
maintain the protection level they should supervise students activities and other high – risk areas
like isolated hallways or stairways, isolated areas of the building grounds which are potential
trouble spots. By varying the route, it creates unpredictability, thus strengthening the school
security officers effectiveness.

CONCLUSION
In the first part of the project we discussed about the importance of security barriers and how
security guards maintain peacefulness in the campus. In addition, we were able to show images
of security barriers and discuss their uses for FL VARGAS students to be aware of in the event
of an accident. As a result, we conclude that FL VARGAS COLLEGE has high safety barriers
because this school demonstrates that they are unlikely to cause harm or commit an offense.
