WHAT WE DID AND PLAN TO DO IN VARIOUS SUBJECT STREAMS……

ENGLISH

Students prepared themselves well for the upcoming


Periodic Assessment- 2 examina on. They were given
Class/Slip tests and Revision worksheets chapter-wise to
solve. Doubts clearance sessions were also conducted.

MATHEMATICS

Students prepared themselves well for the upcoming Periodic Assessment- 2 examina on. They were given Class/Slip
tests and Revision worksheets chapter-wise were given to solve. Doubts clearance sessions were also conducted. The
teacher con nued the Chapter- Perimeter and Area- Area and Circumference of Circles to enhance their learning skills.

HINDI
Learners prepared themselves well for the upcoming PA - 2
examina on. They were given Class/Slip tests and Revision
worksheets chapter-wise were given to solve.

Through this poem, Tumhin mitao meri uljhan - the


students said that mother is an infinite concept, in which
the whole world is included. Mother cannot be compared
with anyone. Even the depth of the ocean is less in
comparison to a mother's love, tenderness, and
compassion. Hence, they learned to feel gra tude,
affec on, love, dedica on, etc. towards their mother.

SCIENCE

Science is fun. Science is curiosity. We all have natural


curiosity. Science is a process of inves ga ng. It's posing
ques ons and coming up with a method. It's delving in.

The students refined their understanding of the concepts


taught through revision taken by the teachers. Along with
the revision for the PA-2 exam the topic 'Reproduc on in
Plants' was also taken. The students enhanced their
knowledge of different parts of the plant which helped
reproduce another plant of its type.

SOCIAL STUDIES
“Geography is an earthly subject, but a heavenly science”

The facilitators revised all the concepts of PA-2 through


various teaching methodologies like worksheets and oral
revision. Along with that, the learners were introduced to
the topic “Transport and Communica on” where they
engaged in a discussion regarding various forms of
transporta on and, also talked about various means of
communica on using different examples from our day-to-
day life.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
“A Computer is like a violin you can imagine it making
beau ful music, but you have to learn how to play it.”

Facilitators revised the concept of computer systems,


applica ons and their types. Learners were introduced to
the Na ve, Web-based and Hybrid applica ons. These
applica ons are built according to the different types of
devices we use in our day-to-day lives. This chapter will
explain the use of different applica ons based on different
devices (Eg-Desktop/Laptop, Mobile, Web-Based.)
Facilitators will connect students with day-to-day life
applica ons to understand their real- me use of them.
This chapter will also explain the advantages and
disadvantages of using social media. Facilitators will share
a few real- me examples to understand the pros and cons
of social media for example Pros-Connec vity, Building
rela onships, Educa on Cons- Fake News, Privacy Issues,
etc.

THIRD LANGUAGE

German-
Alles Gute zum Geburtstag – viel Glück, Gesundheit und
ein langes Leben! “- “Happy birthday – good luck, health
and long life!”

A birthday is a me to reflect on the year gone by and to


also set your goals for the upcoming year. Our learners
learnt how to wish someone on birthdays in German. We
usually wish someone on their birthday – Happy birthday!
The same we wish in German saying Alles Gute zum
Geburtstag! Our learners learnt the lesson – “Alles gute
zum Geburtstag” which focuses on the topics of date,
months and years in German. Our learners obtained
knowledge of trennbare verbs (separable verbs) - einladen
– to invite, Accusa ve pronoun and verb conjuga on of
werden (to become). Most of our learners are now able to
ques on about birthdays and star signs and respond to
such ques ons. For example: Wann hast du Geburstag? -
when is your birthday? They also gained knowledge and
learned how to invite someone and respond to an
invita on, to write an email and construct sentences using
verbs such as einladen, werden, sollen and mitbringen.
They can even now ask and answer ques ons about gi s,
and accept gi s using the main grammar topic of
accusa ve pronouns. Our learners enjoyed learning this
lesson.

French-
Tout a ses propres raisons.
A detailed explana on of possessive adjec ves has been
given to help understand their importance and how to use
them. This explana on explores how possessive adjec ves
play a crucial role in showing ownership and expressing
possession in language. By carefully looking at these
grammar elements, the aim is to help learners have a clear
understanding, highligh ng the different ways possessive
adjec ves can be used in language learning and
communica on.

Sanskrit-
“एक: प रवार:”
Transla ng the name of the lesson leads us to – “one
Family". We are what our Family has made us today.
Without our Family, nothing would make sense. They have
taught us everything because Life has taught them be er.
Hence, they act as, or they are the torch-bearers of our life.
Without their Guidance, we all would be lost. The lesson
emphasizes a short story, where the Grandparents teach
their Grandchildren the value of various things. The story
revolves around health. We have all heard that health is
wealth. And one must cherish it as a treasure. To cherish it,
one must exercise, eat healthy, hydrate, get enough sleep
and prac ce mindfulness. While learning this, our learners
have promised to follow the same to live a happy and
healthy life.

Grade 7th students learned about the lesson “Rojnishi”


This lesson is about a write-up of 3 days of life wri en by
Vaishnavi in her diary. She pens down the details of how
the children's Day was celebrated on 14th November in
her school. She also wrote about the fun she had in the
village and on the farm on 15th November as well as her
birthday celebra on on 16th November. In this lesson,
children learned about village life and friendship also.

WHAT CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE NEXT MONTH


English: Students will further hunt for more informa on about Extra-Terrestrial Life and learn the new topic in Literature-
'The Quest for Extra-Terrestrial Life.’

Hindi: Students will be engaged crea ve wri ng and revise unseen passages.

Mathema cs: Students will further be enhanced with the concept of Percentage and its applica ons. Conversions of
percentages to decimals and frac ons and vice-versa will be explained to the students.
Concepts related to Profit and Loss, Simple Interest and Compound Interest will be explained.

Science: The students will later be enthused to learn about the storm and wind chapter and its effects of. They will also
understand the effec ve safety measures that need to be taken during thunderstorms, cyclones, etc.

Social Science: Students will further be enhanced with the concept of Natural Vegeta on and Wildlife.

Informa on Technology: Students will learn about social media. They will also learn about its advantages and
disadvantages.

French: Our learners will revise the chapter and its grammar topics.

German: Our learners will revise the chapter - Alles gute zum Geburstag and they will revise and recap all the grammar topics
from the annual examina on syllabus.

Marathi: Our students will learn about the poem “Santvani”

Sanskrit: “ ाताया: मह म्” Cleanliness is next to Godliness; this quote is quite popular. But again, the ques on is, is it just a
quote or does it need to be an ac on that speaks louder than the words? This is what our learners will learn next me.

Caring for others is not only about helping and pu ng the
needs of others before our personal interests, but it is also
the ability to hear, understand and recognize others' needs
and feelings. This skill is beneficial for others and for us.
Studies show that caring for others increases our overall
sense of belonging, purpose and iden ty. It makes you
happy – Helping others is fulfilling and it has the power to
make you a happier and be er person. Caring for others is
one of the most rewarding things we can do, having the
opportuni es to create meaningful and posi ve impacts of the Fortnight
on others' lives is something that many take for granted yet
