Answer the questions based on the Story of Gio, Latif and the Laksa:

1. How does globalization operate at multiple, intersecting level?

Since globalization is an ongoing event that occurs everywhere in the world at various
points and times, we are able to witness its impact in every aspect of our life. From an ease
with which businesses and enterprises can import their products to the convenience with
which people can interact with one another or use resources without limitations. People
benefit from social mobility and cross-border relationships that influence them and aid in
their own personal advancement. We now can easily have access in everyone in different
countries by having some information’s about their cultures, places, films, and others. Also,
a lot of Filipinos would much rather work abroad than in the Philippines. As we all know
that there are some countries who is much capable in providing livelihood than our country
in order to provide for them and be able to meet their basic needs.

2. What does the spread of Filipino TV into Malaysia suggest?

The popularity of Filipino television to Malaysia and to other countries shows how
powerful globalization is, on how the expansion of one's film across another through
globalization contributes the support and connections in other countries. In this it can
improve the knowledge and understanding of others in our cultures because the Filipino
tv depicts scenes that shows the kind of life, beliefs, or even customs that Filipinos have, its
popularity may have an effect on how other nations may be influenced by our culture. This
may have an impact on our development, similar to how other cultures have affected
Filipinos.

3. What other hints of globalization did you find in the story?

The story has multiple scenarios when we may observe the impacts of globalization
internationally. First hint is Gio's ability to participate in the contest outside our country and
engage with others throughout the competition in a different nation shows that interactions
may occur both inside and outside borders.

Latif's knowledge of the Filipino actors came from the show that aired on Malaysian TV.
The fact that these actors are well-known in another country shows the influence that
Filipino telenovelas have on people abroad by making them fall in love with the characters
and the show's theme, as well as educating them about how talented Filipinos are in the film
industry and also Latif explained how Chinese, Indian, and Malay cuisines are popular in
their nation due to the British recognition of Malaysian society during colonial times, and
how Filipinos are influenced by the Spaniards, leading us to adopt some of their cultures as
well. This further shows how cultural globalization is perceived. The moment at which Latif
introduced the laksa to Gio explained that they are widely available across the country's
cities and towns shows how laksa exist on their traditional food and how the way these food
companies have the ability to operate in much closer access to a greater number of
customers in a wide range of locations. More importantly, social media has allowed them to
stay in touch with one another over the years while living in different countries, which is
another example of how technological globalization has affected society. The process of
globalization is genuine and ongoing, and it may represent a condition that most people face
in real life. This encourages us to think and act in ways that will advance and strengthen our
own countries, cultures, and economy.
