The Renaissance was the “rebirth” of culture, art, and learning that took place in the fifteenth
and sixteenth centuries, starting in Italy and spreading to various other parts of western
Europe. It produced a number of artists, scientists, and thinkers who are still household names
today: Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Donatello, Botticelli, and others. The Renaissance is
justly famous for its innovations in art and learning, and even though some of its thinkers were
somewhat conceited and off-base in dismissing the prior thousand years or so as being
nothing but the “dark ages,” it is still the case that the Renaissance was enormously fruitful in
terms of intellectual production and creation.

Directions:
Create a print advertisement (Poster) showing the following concept/theme:
1. Renaissance Period theme
2. Poster should also illustrate “Gratefulness” theme

Procedure:
1. Apply any propaganda technique in your poster advertisement
2. Poster should be drawn in 1/8 illustration board.
3. Use a solid or liquid type of coloring materials. (Crayon, oil pastel, poster paint, or
watercolor)
4. Cover your poster with plastic cover.
5. Write your name, grade and section, and title of your Art at the back of your poster
advertisement.
6. Answer the task questions below.
