1. Aim: Install VirtualBox or VMware Workstation on a Windows 10 or 11 operating system

and set up various flavors of Linux or Windows as virtual machines.

2. Objective: To get familiar with the virtual box and how to use it and run applications on
it.
3. Procedure:

• First download the virtual box from google as compatible with you os.

• After downloading it follow the basic commands and install and configure it in your system.

• After that I have installed the ISO FILES of two operating systems in my laptop i.e one is
windows 3.1 and the second one is ubuntu.

• After that I have configured the two operating systems on my virtual box i.e one is windows
3.1 and the second one is ubuntu.

• We can configure numerous os on virtual box through their iso files (disk image file format)
as in below I am running my windows 3.1 os

• Then after that I have configured the ubuntu on my virtual box

4. Learning Outcomes
 I have learned the basic concepts of virtual box
 I have learned how to set up and run various operating system in virtual box.
 I have learned about ISO files.
