What is a canon?
A Greek word, referred to a “stalk of reed” that was used
to measure.

What do they measure in books/writings?

They measure the content, if the content
contains the truth.

How is the Canon related to the Bible?

There were many books written early scholars
about the Hebrew people and their God. Not all of
them contain the truth about them and their
relationship with the One God – Yahweh.

Applied to the Bible, Canon of Scriptures refers to the

standardized books being used, accepted, and
regarded by the Church to be sacred and
authoritative.
