Description:
Alliander is a energy network company which provide a reliable, affordable and accessible
energy transport and distribution to a large part of the Netherlands. Cyient is responsible for
capturing the data from maps which were received as inputs inform of PDFs. referring to the
inputs our task is to capture and conflate underground gas network with given dimensions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

⮚ Responsible for Quality Management

⮚ Responsible for Quality Assurance and delivering data

⮚ Working in validations team which was task of checking data final time before Data being
delivered to Client.

⮚ Part of Quality Team for checking quality of data.

⮚ Checking the quality and prepare checklist that all the connections clear till the end
connection which we call it technically as gas feeding.

Description:
Vitens is the largest drinking water company in the Netherlands. They deliver top quality drinking
water to 5.6 million people and companies in the provinces Flevoland, Fryslân, Gelderland, Utrecht
and Overijssel and some municipalities in Drenthe and Noord-Holland.

 The main objective of this project was Vectorization/Conversion of water connections with
its components as shown on sketch and other Water Network related features at accurate
locations by Simple & Orthogonal dimensions given on the sketches using Sketch2GIS tool.

 Then the each vectorized files are Exported to XML individually. After export, it goes to
validation and deliver XML’s to client server.

 As part of project at VITENS, I have worked on QUALITY CONTROL.

 The Input Sketch images we get in a Tiffs format and details of Connection & Sketch spread
sheet we get from Vitens.
 The Land base data (BGT & BAG) and Water Network data (NRM Assets) is in GDB format
and Sketch metadata “Diasys” are taken from Oracle dump.
 We will capture water services to each individual houses by using Sketch2GIS tool with
accurate locations as per simple & Orthogonal dimensions given in sketches.
 After completion of capturing it goes for validation and there after it is exported to XML
formats.
 These XML’s are delivered in Batches to client with Delivery report contains Converted,
Failure codes connection details.
