Hotel Association Report – Year 1 Quarter 4

SUPPLY

They are no new hotels planned for the market

DEMAND

Unconstrained demand is expected to decrease to levels 15% lower than last year same quarter. The hotel
occupancy should be around 60%.

Leisure

Booking pace appears to have slowed for the forth quarter as demand from value travelers appears to have
softened from last year and with much more “shopping” evident.

Business

Demand is predicted to drop 15% year-on-year through Q4.

Tour

Members report flat tour bookings, year-on-year for Q4. An increase on bookings especially during week
end was averted which we attribute to the new Civic Center and the extended cultural events calendar.

A slight increase in regional “drive-in” bookings is being realized offsetting decreased air-lift

Small Group

Demand appears to be spiking for the holiday season.
