countries around the world. We have journeyed
with India and its consumers for close to 75 years –
as part of all their daily moments of snacking and
celebrations through every occasion, every festival,

have made significant investments to Make in India
– whether in our manufacturing or sale footprint,
R&D, technology hubs, farming and sustainability

From providing the first taste of chocolate to Indian


consumers’ in 1948, through our iconic brand –
Cadbury Dairy Milk, which today is India’s most
trusted brand (as per The Economic Times – Brand
Equity ‘Most Trusted Brands’ 2020) we have been
carrying on the legacy and leadership by defining
the taste of chocolate even today. We have created
products that are truly Indian – Cadbury 5Star,
Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk, Cadbury Gems, Cadbury
Bournvita, Cadbury Perk and so many others that
have now gone from India to global markets. .
We have redefined the taste of chocolate in the
country, touching millions of lives. We are the
undisputed market leaders in the chocolate
category in the country—Mondelez India owns over
65 percent of the market share (as per Nielsen),
with Cadbury Dairy Milk alone commanding a
market share of over 40 per cent. Cadbury
Bournvita, the second-largest MFD in India, has
evolved into the most trusted malted food drinks
and at the back of leading biscuit brands like Oreo
and Bournvita Biscuits we have been at the heart of
numerous warm family moments of our consumers.

As the makers and bakers of some of India’s iconic


snacking brands, we have made it our purpose to
empower people to snack right. We believe that
consumers should not have to choose between
snacking and eating right or worry about the
impact their snacking choices would have on the
world and their communities. We are improving
the nutritional and ingredient profile of many of
our brands, sourcing ingredients more sustainably
and producing snacks with less water, energy, and
waste.

important asset—our people. Mondelez India has
more than 3500 employees, spread across every
corner of the country. Our policies are designed to

Sri City (Andhra Pradesh), in addition to a global
Research & Development Technical Centre and
Global Business Hub in Maharashtra and a vast
distribution network across the country.
