OUR STUDY TOUR EXPERIENCE

XII IPS 2

Last week on January 27, we had a study tour to Bulukumba, South Sulawesi. We
are scheduled to leave at 6am, but because there are some buses who come late,
we have to go late from the scheduled time. After praying together, we all pasted
onto each other's buses and then left together. We're all excited because it's our
first long journey together. The journey begins with fun because we listen to the
fun songs together. After some time, our bus was immediately quiet because we
were all asleep, maybe because we were waking up too early. When we woke up,
we spent time enjoying the trip, there were many beautiful scenery passing by.
Then we stop at the Dato' Tiro Bulukumba Mosque for lunch and praying. We also
create a video trend together there.

We then continued our journey to Kajang Ammatoa which took about an hour
and a half. On the way there we see alot of trees, like rubber trees, durian trees,
brown trees, and more. We arrived in the village of Kajang Ammatoa, after
arriving we were asked to gather for briefing about what to do inside Ammatoa.
Sadly theres some of us who can't join in because they are unable to, so they are
just waiting outside with the others. After a while people who go to Ammatoa
came back and then we all took pictures together. After taking pictures we are
told to enter the bus and continue our journey to the villa.

We arrived at the villa around 7 pm and immediately looked for each other's
rooms. After arriving at our room we cleaned up and prepared ourselves to
perform our research results presentation in front of everyone at 9 pm. The
presentation took times until 12 o'clock, then we returned to each other's room to
rest, there were some sleeping and there were also some choosing not to sleep at
all.

At 3 am, some of us were already ready to pray and some were still sleeping.
After praying we went to the beach to see the sunrise and also take some pictures
there. When the sun was starting to heat, some of us had returned to the room
and there were also some who just wanted to play on the beach. We enjoyed our
respective activities until we got our breakfast and then we were told to gather for
a picture together. After the photo together, we then went to the Phinisi Ship to
do more research. After returning from Phinisi Ship, we rest for a while in the
room and prepare to go home.
On the way home, only a few of us spoke on the bus, because many of us were
already asleep and woke up when we had arrived at the Dato' Tiro Mosque again
for lunch and prayer. We also continued our journey home and had stopped
somewhere because some of us wanted to buy souvenirs. We arrived at school at
around 6.30 in the afternoon and went straight home to our homes. It was a very
short trip but also very memorable journey for us.
