your attendance. Is there any absence in class?
Very good class! There is no absence
for today.
Energizer
To make our discussion more
meaningful and fun, let us have an energizer.
This energizer will be a preparation for
today’s discussion. Are you ready for class? Yes teacher, we are ready!

Did you enjoy everyone?
It seems that you all had fun in our
energizer today. Yes teacher!
Recall
Before we begin with our new lesson
today let us have a recall on what we discussed
yesterday. What did we discuss yesterday?

Yesterday we discussed less than, more

That’s right. Yesterday we discussed the than, as many as, order sets from least to

than, and equal to.
How do we perform greater than
symbols?
How about the less than symbol?
And lastly, elaborate how we are equal
to symbols. (They will perform using their hands.)
Very good! All of your answers are
correct. I think you already learned a lot from
our previous discussion. And now we will
proceed to our new lesson.
B. ACTIVITY (Application of IEP for gifted
learners and students with difficulty in
communication)
Okay class! Before we jump up to our
new lesson let’s have an activity first which will
be related to our new topic for today. Do you
want to play a game?
Instead of saying Yes teacher, I want all
of you to say Aye, Aye Teacher. Is that
understood in class?

You must do this quickly and efficiently to Aye-Aye teacher!

by announcing, "The boat is sinking! Group
yourselves into and will flash the group
numbers for you to quickly group yourselves.
The group who will remain in the game will
win prizes. When your group is done you will
shout “Aye-Aye Teacher!”. Are the instructions
clear?

more friends, and some had fewer. We used
numbers like 1, 2, 3, and so on. If one group
had 2 friends and another had 3, we added
them to get 5 friends in total. This helped us
understand how numbers work together.

There are hidden strips of paper surrounding

pick all the strips and combine all of it. This
will form our lesson for today. Clap 3 times if
you are done.

Excellent! Let us give them “Fantastic Clap”.

We will have a Mathematics storytelling as we

Before we begin, what are the classroom rules

story is entitled: A Plentiful Harvest

family on a charming farm. The farm was not
only their home but also their source of
livelihood.

One bright and sunny morning, as the

seasons changed from summer to autumn,
Alex's parents decided it was time to
harvest the fruits they had been growing.
Their orchard was filled with trees bearing
apples, pears, and juicy grapes.

Excitedly, Alex joined his parents in the

orchard. Armed with baskets and smiles,
they set out to pick the ripe fruits. With
each pluck and twist, they collected the
colorful fruits, feeling the weight of their
harvest in their hands.
"Look, Mom! This apple is so shiny and
red," exclaimed Alex, holding it up to the
sunlight.

have, Alex. Can you count them?" asked
his father.

With enthusiasm, Alex began counting the
