DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN MATHEMATICS GRADE 1

I. Learning Objectives:
At the end of this lesson, the learners will be able to:
1. Able to understand concepts learn the order property for addition;
2. Demonstrate proficiency in addition of numbers by analyzing addition sentences
and;
3. Enhance their understanding of addition, fostering a deeper comprehension of
mathematical concepts and their real-world relevance problems.
II. Subject Matter:
Topic: Addition of Numbers
Materials: Television, power point presentation, laptop, real objects, pictures and
videos.
Reference: Mathematics Leaners’ Material Book Grade 1 and
Individualized Education Plan
Values Integration: Cooperation, friendship, communication, and joy of

red," exclaimed Alex, holding it up to the
sunlight.

As they gathered the fruits, Alex's parents

encouraged him to count the fruits they
picked. "Let's see how many apples we

Before we proceed to our story let’s count the
grapes. How many bunch of small grapes do
we have?

We have 10 pears altogether.
When it was time to harvest the grapes,
Alex was fascinated by the clusters
hanging from the vines. His little fingers
delicately plucked the grapes, and he
counted them aloud, "One grape, two
grapes, three grapes…"

We have 3 big grapes.

We have 11 bunches of grapes altogether.

And so, in that little village, amidst the sweet
aroma of freshly picked fruits, a young boy's
love for learning and harvesting flourished,
making each season a delightful adventure.
After the harvest, the family sat down for a
delicious fruit feast. Alex was thrilled that
he had not only helped gather the fruits but
also practiced his counting.
From that day on, every harvest season
became a fun learning experience for Alex.
As he added more fruits to the baskets, he

Students roll two dice 5 times and then use the
