A reflection on how I individually retain knowledge, behavioral approach best suits my

style. Having vast experience through all these years of education, the typical method that give

rise to my excel was the process of actual significant experience absorb upon the substance I was

learning. This process brought to light real knowledge and talent in me that show the picture out

there and not just writing summaries or proposal from reading articles. It makes me have control

and give me confidence over the situation.

The behavioral approach creates applications in actual situation that produce a reflection

process, events, and exceptional circumstances that was paramount to executing a job safely and

effectively. Considering the behavioral training methods that includes structured role-play,

simulations, behavior modelling, and coaching have given me several experiences and the

methods that was more effective in my knowledge retention was simulation.

Being in the US Army tis is something you learn and do a lot, simulations. During my

physical readiness combat and special corps training, we have to sit in class and go through

trainings and then to the simulation as well for hours to make sure soldiers understand the

theorical aspect of the class’s materials. We were given a power point presentation on the usage

of the actual program and then assign us by squad doing tactical combat training in 3D

simulation. This process give credence to learning the course easily and better understand the
concepts that applies. This design of training enables you understand first- hand combat scenario

and teaches you the methods use to survive in battlefield.

Over ten years of being in the military now, the interactive experience still play a major

role in my knowledge retention and career whenever appropriate in my military career and it has

bolstered my promotional success in the army as a special corps officer as well. The simulation
