SCRIPT FOR CORONATION RITES

EMCEE SCRIPT FOR THE MR. & MS. UN 2017 CORONATION RITES

United Nations Day is celebrated worldwide every October 24, in honor of the
intergovernmental organization promoting human rights, social progress, and world
peace.

In many Philippine schools, United Nations Day is celebrated by having students dress up
in the national costumes or traditional clothing of different nations, and holding
lessons about cultural diversity.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are here to witness the Coronation Rites for Mr. & Ms.
United Nations 2017.

At this point in time, I would like to request everyone to stand for the singing of the
Philippine National Anthem with Ma’am Shellane P. Sabuero conducting, to be followed by
the Doxology by the selected pupils and please remain standing for the singing of the
Pototan Hymn..

A pleasant morning everyone. Live at MATIAS YUSAY MEMORIAL ELEMENTARY

SCHOOL, this is MR. & MS. UNITED NATIONS 2017 CORONATION RITES.

I’m sure that everybody is excited for the program! Look at those faces, those smiles!
Alright! So, let’s not prolong the agony of waiting -- to open this morning’s event, none of
this would have been possible without her support. Let’s all have our PTA President, Mrs.
Genevieve Poseo. A round of applause, please!

Thank you so much, Mrs. President, for that heart-warming welcome address.
Now, to formally welcome us all, let’s welcome our Brgy. Captain, Mr. Neil
Sumagaysay for his welcome address.

Thank you Sir Neil…It’s an honor to have you with us this morning. And now, ladies
and gentlemen, let’s have a small break. To entertain us, let’s call on the (selected) Grade VI
Pupils for their dance number.

Wow! Thank you so much for that dance number.

And now, to enlighten us with the real essence of our celebration today, let’s give the
floor to our very own, Ma’am Maricel O. Barsanas.

We will now give the respective Sash for our candidates. At the same time we will also
hand in the trophies, respectively.

Please come up stage as I call on your names. Starting off with 6 th Runner-Up,

At this juncture, we will witness another intermission number by the Grade 4 Pupils.

Now, to proclaim our Mr. & Ms. United Nations 2017, let’s all welcome our School
Principal, no other than Mrs. Sharlynn P. Pamposa.

The crown is a traditional symbolic form of headgear worn by a monarch or by a

deity. The crown traditionally represents power, legitimacy, victory, triumph, honor, and
glory, as well as immortality, righteousness, and resurrection. Ladies and gentlemen, the
Crowning! To do the honor, may we request our Brgy. Captain, accompanied by their
respective parents.

And to give an ode, to be followed by a serenade respectively. Let’s

Ladies and gentlemen, this event would have been impossible without the people who
worked behind the scene… At this point, we would like to call on Mrs. Sharlynn P.
