Lesson Title: Communicating and Reporting of Assessment Data from Alternative Methods
Duration: One Day (3 hours, 16:00-17:00)
Learning Targets:
1. Knowledge: Learners will understand the concepts of effective communication and
reporting of assessment data, such as tests, observations, peer discussions, work
samples, presentations, performances, and projects.

2. Reasoning: Learners will examine several formats and structures for presenting assessment
data from alternate methods, such as performances and portfolios, and assess how they can
improve.

3. Skills: Learners will demonstrate their ability to choose suitable communication


strategies and resources for delivering assessment data, such as written reports,
visualizations, and presentations.

4. Product: Prepare a sample report or presentation summarizing evaluation data


gathered through alternative methods, using good communication principles, and
adapting the presentation to a specific audience like professors, students, parents,
administrators, and stakeholders.

5. Affective: Students will analyze the role of communication in the assessment process as
well as the ethical implications of correctly and transparently reporting assessment
data.
