INVESTIGATORY PROJECTS ON CHEMISTRY

1. To study the presence of oxalate ions in guava fruit at different stage of ripening.
2. To study the quantity of casein present in different samples of milk.
3. Preparation of soyabean milk and its comparison with natural milk with respect to curd
formation, effect of temperature and taste.
4. To study the effect of potassium bisulphate as food preservative at various
conditions(time,temperature and concentrations.)
5. To study the digestion of wheat flour, gram flour and potato flour by saliva.
6. Comparision of the rate of fermentation of the given samples of wheat flour, gram flour and
potato juice and carrot juice.
7. Sterilization of water using bleaching powder.
8. Extraction of essential oils in saunf( aniseed)/ Ajwan(carum) , illaichi(cardamom).
