KÖTTBULLAR OCH LINGONBÄR

 Köttbullar is a blend of minced beef, egg, milk, and bread. The mix is rolled into small balls, fried
in butter, and bathed in brown gravy, with mashed potato, and lingonberry jam on the side.
 Meatballs have been a part of Swedish cuisine for centuries, with the earliest known recipe dating
back to the 18th century.
 The Swedish furniture company IKEA began serving meatballs in its restaurants in the 1950s, and
they quickly became a popular menu item in the mid-20th century.
 The modern version of Swedish meatballs today is likely the result of influences from other
cuisines, such as Turkish and French.

with a coffee and something sweet.

PRINSESSTÅRTA

prinsesstårta or "princess cake" because the princesses were said to have been
especially fond of the cake.
