Simple Present
❖ The simple present is used to describe habits or routines, unchanging situations, general
truths, and fixed arrangements, etc.

El tiempo presente se usa para describir hábitos o rutinas, situaciones inmutables, verdades
generales y preparativos fijos.

❖ To form the third person singular for simple present verbs, follow these rules:

Adverbs of Manner

An adverb describes a verb (an action), an adjective, another adverb, or a whole sentence.
He runs slowly. (describing a verb)The adverb slowly describes the verb runs.
He is an incredibly amazing cook. (describing an adjective)
He cooks really amazingly. (describing an adverb)
Interestingly, they come from Spain. (describing a whole sentence)
The adverb interestingly describes the whole sentence.

In this course we are going to focus on adverbs that describe verbs.
