A Semi-Detailed (4A’s) LESSON PLAN


(MAPEH 10 PE) Second Quarter

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson/session, the learners are expected to;

1. Enumerate the different active recreation,


1.1 Warm-up dynamic exercises
1.2 Walking
1.3 Jogging
1.4 Running
2. Perform the different active recreation and;
3. Justify the importance of active recreation.
II.Subject Matter
A. Topic: Active Recreation
B. Learning Competences and Code: Engages in moderate to vigorous
physical activities.

III. Procedures
A. Activity
The teacher will group the class into 4, each group will be given
puzzle pieces which needs to be puzzled. All groups will be given 5
minutes to puzzle up the pieces. Once the groups are done, they will
have it posted on the board.

Analysis
The teacher will ask the learners insight about the pictures
flashed.
1. Are you familiar with those pictures?
2. Have you performed those before?
3. Are those physical activities beneficial for our lifestyle

Abstraction
Lesson Proper
 Discuss active recreation.
 Explain the different physical activities and the significance of active
recreation.
The process
1. What is active recreation?
2. What are the differences between those physical activities?
3. How is it important to our lifestyle?

Application
Using the reciprocal style, student will be paired to another student.
The students’ pair will make sure that what his/her partner’s being
done is right. After 5 minutes, the pair will change roles.

IV. Assessment
The class will be group into four and each group will be
competing against another group. They will be performing the
stated moderate to vigorous activities discussed and
demonstrated. They will be graded according to their ranking:
1st place: 100
2nd place: 95
3rd place: 90
4th place: 85

The students are required to strictly perform each activity


correctly, if found incorrect, the student will be required to go
back to starting position.
V. Assignment
Practice the different recreational activities.

Comments and Suggestions:

 Most objectives are met, but no documented assessment has been done.
 The title and instructions for the activity should be displayed on the
power point.
 The pictures on the task were not completed based in the lesson plan.
 Provide two categories of recreational activities, such as indoor and
outdoor activities, as well as examples.
 Provide clear instructions in your application and include a catchy title
such as "spot me".
 All instructions and lesson should be presented on your slide
presentation.
 Rubrics should be detailed and points system.
 You can add reflection after an activity.
 Use English for instruction.
 Activities are engaging.
