Dear Students and Parents,

Welcome to an exciting year at TanenbaumCHAT.

Below you can find a number of important documents. Please read carefully.

• Your tentative student timetable for this year. In the event of any changes, you will be notified
by the school.

• Your student number– Please keep this information in a safe place as you will need to refer to
your student number for different purposes throughout the year.

• Your locker assignment for this year and your locker combination. Lockers can be set up the
week of August 29th - September 2nd (please refer to the schedule emailed to you earlier this
week). Locker setup is for students only.

• Your login and password for school computers, school WIFI, Edsby, & your school Gmail
account. Please refer to the Edsby and Google Workspace for Education letters in the email
sent earlier. Please note that Edsby is not yet open for students or parents. You will receive an
email notification before school starts to let you know when you can access the
system.

Grade 9 students who need to change a course due to the completion of a course over the
summer should contact Nechama Chemel for assistance - nchemel@tanenbaumchat.org

Please log in using your credentials to Edsby and Gmail prior to September 6th to make sure
you are ready and prepared for a successful beginning to the school year. If you encounter any
difficulties signing in to any of these services, contact tech support at
tcsupport@tanenbaumchat.org.

Parents new to the school will receive an invitation to join Edsby and set up their account in a
future email.
