● ASTR 170: The Physical Universe for undergraduate students introducing astronomical
concepts.
● Working with 170-200 students in smaller partner groups during class by answering their
questions and guiding them towards a solution.
● Holding weekly supplemental help sessions to provide support for students.
● Working closely with the course professor to develop teaching strategies for student
success.
● Teaching astronomical concepts to rising 5th through 8th graders in a classroom setting
of 18-25 students.
● Developed and practiced teaching strategies and classroom management skills by
creating engaging lessons to encourage active learning.
● Creating a learning environment that is safe and welcoming for students.
● Observing 2 classes of 30-36 students with their teacher of record, attending meetings
