Clock sounds & patterns


Find some objects that you could use to make “clock-ish sounds”…
e.g. cups (tap with spoon/pen),
ruler/pen/texta (tap on table/desk),
cake-cooling rack (scrape with pen),
saucepan (tap with ruler/spoon),
scissors snipping, etc…

Create and play some of your own patterns with your “clock-ish sounds”…
Each pattern must have 4 beats. Choose from these note values to create your rhythms:
On your own piece of paper, draw a table like the one shown below.
Notate at least 3 different patterns in your table. An example is given in the first row below.
Make sure you indicate the performance technique.
