Content Standard
An instrument is usually a tool for making music, like a piano or a guitar, but it can also be used
for almost any kind of tool or thing you use to get something done. A thermometer is an
instrument for measuring temperature.

Performance Standard
Reliable and robust instrument performance is key to any laboratory. Make sure, your
instruments perform and is always calibrated and matches the key parameters you want to use.
You just initiate the process once and you can be sure to start your work in the morning with a
well-tuned and qualified instrument.
