Assignment 3

What to do? 1. Revise your research question/objective in consultation with your advisor if
needed.
2. Identify the 3 review articles after discussing with your advisor if needed.
Make observations regarding the structure of the review i.e. how the review
has been organized and written. If you cannot find review articles in the
area of your research, find 3 review articles in a closely-related area. You
are only expected to observe how reviews can be written.
3. Also identify the 5 most prominent research articles in your area after
discussing with your advisor.
4. Write a mini-review based on those 5 most prominent research articles in
your area. Refine it with the help of your advisor if possible.
5. To insert references in your mini-review report, use the citation manager,
Mendeley.
6. In order to better understand how it works, watch the tutorial videos
provided in the document CitationManager_Mendeley. Note that Mendeley
can be installed on Windows and Linux. On Linux, Mendeley works with
OpenOffice.
7. Please follow IEEE REFERENCE STYLE

research area. (100 to 200 words maximum )
3. A mini-review of 5 prominent research articles in your research area.
Review length (approximately 2 pages with Times New Roman 12 points,
single spaced).
