When Jesus saw their faith, he said to
the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are
forgiven.”
In Mark 2, four friends put a paralyzed man on a stretcher and carried him to a house where Jesus was teaching. In effect,
they were saying, “We’re taking you to Jesus. You may not think you can ever walk again, but we are believing for you. You
can borrow our faith.” When they got there, the house was so packed they couldn’t get in. Rather than give up, they carried
the man to the roof, took off the covering, and lowered him to Jesus. It says that “when Jesus saw their faith,” He healed
the man. It wasn’t the faith of the paralyzed man but his friends. They lifted him, carried him, believed for him, and refused
to give up. They had ripping-off-the-roof faith.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS:
YOUTH OF EXCELLENCE SCHEME OF CHINA PROGRAM-
The Government of China in partnership with the Government of Samoa is inviting suitable candidates from Samoa to apply for full scholarships under the “Youth of
Excellence Scheme of China Program” to study programs for Master’s Degrees, taught in English.

Specific Eligibility Criteria:

-Must be a Samoan citizen and be in good health both mentally and physically.
-Must have resided in Samoa for 3 consecutive years at the time of application. The applicant (including parents or spouse) must reside permanently in Samoa.
- Must be a Bachelor’s degree holder or holder of a higher degree under the age of 45
- Must have at least three years of work experience related to the proposed program.

- The applicant must fall under into one of the following 4 categories:
(1) A government official at the division chief level (or equivalent level) or above;
(2) A senior manager of an institution or enterprise;
(3) An administrator of a university or scientific research institution;
(4) Those who have relevant employment or internship experience in international organisations.
-Applicant must apply directly to any of the 72 subprograms given and obtain a pre-admission letter
-Applicants must submit a pre-admission letter from the University during the Online Application Phase.
-Previous scholarship holders must serve a two (2) year stand down period before applying.

-When applying online, choose ‘Type A’ for ‘Scholarship Type”. The agency code is 1563 and applicants need to find ‘Youth of Excellence Scheme of China”
