Safety
Any personnel involved in installation, operation or service of the Our Repeater must understand and
obey the following:
1. Repeater is used to amplify the downlink signal from the base station and transmit to mobile
station, and amplify the uplink signal from the phone and send back to the base station, this product must be
used in a professional place.
2. Repeater must comply with system requirements of communication equipment, maintain good
grounding, do lightning protection measures.
3. The power supply voltage of Repeater must meet the safety requirements, any
Repeater operating personnel must cut off the power supply, and then the operation can be conducted. Only
after the qualification certification of professional personnel shall be charged operation.
4. The Repeater will emit electromagnetic wave, which is harmful to human body, irrelevant
personnel are advised not to close.
5. Users not to open the machine, self repair or replacement of parts, this may damage
the machines, even may shock or injury.
6. Don't open the case, do not use the hand to touch the Repeater module, more can't open
the module cover and touch the electronic components with hands, electrostatic hand will damage the
electronic parts.
7. The Repeater must be away from the fire source, because electronic components in a
fire may explode.
8. Cannot open the case at high temperature, some electronic devices will emit toxic
gas after long time high temperature or fire.

The antenna isolation requirements can be reduced more than 35dB, Receiving antenna
and antenna using the same holding pole, thereby reduce the installation difficulty and cost.
5
LTE900 ICS Repeater User’s Manual Ver: 1.0
In the same antenna isolation conditions, the whole machine gain can be increased more
than 35dB, to achieve more coverage scope.
Has uplink noise suppression function, the impact to base station receiver sensitivity is
small.
Has the automatic gain and level control function, ensure the output power is constant.
No special requirements on the feedback path between the receiving antenna and transmit
antenna, can adapt to various installation site.
Compared with fiber optic repeater, ICS repeater has the following advantages:
Does not need to rely on the fiber resources, can reduce the cost of installation.
Compared with frequency shift repeater, ICS repeater has the following advantages:
Don't need OCXO, avoid because of constant temperature crystal aging induced frequency
drift.

55℃, humidity is ≤95%, which can be adapted to most areas of the natural environment.
Recommended Environmental Requirements:
1.Installation area non-corrosive gases and fumes, Electromagnetic interference field
strength ≤140dBμV/m(0.01MHz~110000MHz).
2 . Mounting height should facilitate the RF cable routing, cooling, safety and
maintenance.
3 . Should provide a set of independent and stable 200VAC ~ 240VAC(Nominal
220V/50Hz)AC Power. It must not be shared with other high-power appliances
telecommunications equipment.
4.Lightning protection devices must be installed in the building, and it should have
sufficient strength and stability.
5.There are grounding bar in the vicinity.

thunderstorms.
Pay Attention 2: By the LTE900 ICS Repeater panel Tags, connect the RF cable and
power lines, and connect the outer casing of LTE900 ICS Repeater to the Earth. MS port
connect to the Retransmission antenna, BS port connect to the donor antenna, Seal
the RF cable connector, prevent leakage caused rusting connector, VSWR deteriorates
and adverse effects. Before power-on, pay attention to see if objects have fallen into
the LTE900 ICS Repeater.

Also, if there is no power meter, you can connect all the antenna feeder system, open the
cover of the equipment and then read by software, but also accurate.

Select “working parameter” tab, select the check box of the “DL input power”, then click
"Query" button, it should be able to return to the downlink input power value in the 30 seconds.
The value should >-95dBm.

LTE900 ICS Repeater User’s Manual Ver: 1.0
LTE900 ICS Repeater comes with power detection function, without spectrum analyzer
and other equipment can be relatively accurately measure the uplink and downlink power.
The downlink input and output power is be detected actually. Uplink output power due to the
general case will be relatively small and is burst signal, the power value be queried may be an
indeterminate value.

the base station signals, if so, increase in uplink attenuation values. Test Call quality in not
interfere with the base station, if the call is not good, you can try to reduce the uplink
attenuation value to increase the uplink receiver sensitivity. The premise is not interfering
base station.
Factory settings: The uplink attenuation value is 0dB.

Note:
There are five groups of Query/Set number, These five groups of numbers can
query and set the operating parameters and state of the Repeater, The five groups can
be all set, you can also set only a few of them. Alarm information will report to the
“Report Tel number” when the equipment has alarm information. “Query/Set number”
and “Report Tel number” can be the same. The SIM cards of above numbers must be
inserted in the LTE900 MODEM supplied by Our Company. The LTE900 MODEM must
be connected with our monitor center software before being used normally.
3. When building new site, shall ensure that "the monitoring center software" site number,
Site Device number, Telephone number are the same as these parameters in LTE900 ICS
repeater, if they are not consistent, it will lead to communication failure.
4. The completion of the above operations, the monitoring center can perform remote
query, setting and alarm test for the repeater.

The following, you can query the repeater working state and set repeater parameter
through the method introduced above.
Note: According to the Remote monitor, because the message response required
longer time, So the operation response speed will slow than a local monitoring, waiting
50 seconds from the start time of the operation, if not normal receives the response of
equipment, the software will prompt that “operation failed”, need to re-operation. If
unable to normal operation all the time, please check that the two LTE900 MODEM of
equipment and the monitor center are working properly, the communication parameters
are configured properly, and the communication parameters are configured properly?

it is very small, then the donor side may change or feed source has been broken.
2. Failure phenomenon: Weak signal in coverage area, but monitoring software
displays "downlink power" is the full power.
Processing steps: There are two reasons for analysis: First is, receives the downlink
signal is too strong, and then adjust the angle of the "outdoor antenna" to decrease the
strength of received signal. Second is, donor and transponder antenna isolation is not enough
cause that Donor Antenna and Transponder Antenna signal mutual channeling each other, in
this case, you should change the difference in height between the donor antenna and
transponder antenna, or increase the distance between the donor antenna and the
transponder antenna, achieve the purposes of increasing isolation between donor antenna
and transponder antenna. If the above methods do not solve the problem, you need to add an
attenuator between the "LTE900 ICS Repeater " and "outdoor antenna", or reduce the
equipment gain.
