- An animal of a large group distinguished by the


possession of backbone of spinal column.

- Animals produce and secrete milk from
mammary glands to feed their offspring.

vertebrates that usually lay eggs and have skin
covered with scales or bony plates.
AMPHIBIANS
- Any organisms that are able to live both on land
or in water.

FISH
- A limbless cold-blooded vertebrate animal with
gills and fins and living wholly in water.
BIRDS
- A warm-blooded egg-laying vertebrate
distinguished by the possession of feathers,
wings, and a beak and by being able to fly.

INVERTEBRATES
- Is an animal without a backbone. In fact,
invertebrates don’t have any bones at all.
