Content Standard: This lesson is a learning segment designed to help students learn
and understand addition.
Performance Standard : The students are expected add and solve mathematical
problem on their own.
I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
a. discover what addition is;
b. appreciate the importance of addition, and
c. solve mathematical problems using addition.
