SUD is a modern and luxurious restaurant located in the centre of Oisterwijk. The town is a popular tourist
destination due to the many woods and fens in the surround’s areas.

Our restaurant is all about quality and hospitality. We work in a young, ambitious and dynamic team. Our
kitchen is brand new.

Our guests dine in a relaxed atmosphere with delicious culinary dishes and matching wines to ensure
that they will have a delightful evening.

Job description
Sous-chef
As a sous-chef you have a leading role in our kitchen, you are involved in managing the kitchen staff.
Together with the head chef, you will develop the menu and will be responsible for the preparation and
presentation of the dishes.

Our expectations:
• Minimum of 3 years' work experience in a leading role in a similar restaurant.
• Age between 22 and 35 years
• Directing and motivating kitchen staff in preparing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean.
• The ability to prepare dishes by yourself
• Supervising the chefs in training
• Managing the supply of goods
• Scheduling of the staff
• Supervising the observance of safety and hygiene regulations in the kitchen.
• Monitoring the quality of dishes
• Monitoring the work progress in the kitchen

What we offer:
• First one year contract. After that possibly a permanent contract.
• Bicycle available
• Breakfast and dinner available on work days
• Good tip rates
• Good secondary working conditions
• Salary indication of €2300,- gross per month (fulltime)
• A large, luxurious apartment above the restaurant. Shared by two employees.
The first four months €400,- per month, per person.

Independent working chef
As an independent working chef, you will be preparing our delicious dishes. Cooking is your passion and
you are at home in the kitchen. Experimenting and being creative with ingredients and dishes is your
business. It is very important that you do not let quality slip away. You are motivated and work hard to
reach your goal. You work in a young, ambitious and energetic team. You like to do that in order to give
your guests a pleasurable evening.

Our expectations:
• A strong organizer
• Minimum of 3 years' work experience in a similar position
• Age between 20 and 35 years
• Preparing dishes
• Supervising and motivating kitchen staff
• Passion for cooking
• Creative and conscientious
• Understanding and customer friendly
• Monitoring and encouraging the quality of dishes
• Monitoring the progress of work in the kitchen
• Managing the supply of goods
• Thinking about saving costs
• Flexibility

Bisque d’homard with crostini and rouille sauce.

Thom kha kai with smoked chicken and spring onion

Tournedos with truffle sauce

Pan-fried lamb fillet with red port and apple syrup

Grilled fillet of sea bass with prawns, courgette, tomato and dill

Pan-fried fillet of monkfish with tomato antiboise, samphire and green asparagus
