United Arab Emirates President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will also
be in attendance of the event.
The 2021 edition of the global summit was cancelled by the government
due to the restrictions during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The first ever summit was held in the Navatri season that year, with over
1000 delegates.
In this Summit, 34 partner countries and 16 partner organizations are
participating, which include a prominent group of world leaders, including
Presidents, Prime Ministers, and CEOs of MNCs from many countries.
Partner countries for the event like Japan, Australia, Singapore, United
Kingdom, Germany, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Norway,
Ukraine, Estonia, Mozambique, Netherlands, Slovak Republic, UAE, Morocco,
Rwanda, Finland, Thailand, Poland, Russia and Malaysia and Mauritius
The 2015 summit saw 21,304 MoUs, and 2017 had 24,774 deals, with
approximately 70% materializing. Officials are optimistic that 90% of this year's
MoUs will be realized.

President Toshihiro Suzuki announced Suzuki Motors' groundbreaking
venture into the electric vehicle (EV) market.
Maruti to invest ₹35,000cr to set up 2nd manufacturing plant in Gujarat
which would produce another one million units per year.
Gujarat will be two million units 1 million units at Suzuki Motor Gujarat and
one million units at the second new plant.
Adani says, "We are expanding the green supply chain for an Aatmanirbhar
Bharat and creating the largest integrated, renewable energy
ecosystem...Over the next five years, the Adani group will invest over ₹2 Lakh
Crores in Gujarat.“
Mukesh Ambani said, "...Reliance was, is and will always remain a Gujarati
company...Reliance has invested over 150 billion dollars - ₹12 Lakh Crores - in
creating world-class assets and capacities across India in last 10 years, of
this more than 1/3rd has been invested in Gujarat alone."
Today Gujarat is fully 5G enabled, something that most of the world does
not have.
