LEARNING JOURNAL: Pizza Making

I. Introduction
 Reasons for joining in Pizza Making
The reasons why I joined in pizza making is first, It is our midterm examination.Second, is to
have better experience in making my owned pizza and also to grab the opportunity to become
part of pizza making camp,And the last is to enjoy.

II. Significant Experiences during the training in Pizza Making

My significant experience during the training in the Pizza Making is that I enjoyed a lot from
riding in a jeep going to Ronbinson Jaro. The Greenwich place is so unique and clean so that I'm
comfortable to enjoy in making pizza and also, I enjoy with their games as well. From the
entrance you can say wow to their ambiance and approachable welcome with us. The staff are
so highly professional and hygienic in terms of their service especially the managers. The foods
are so delicious and tasty and the service is good. One thing I learned in Greenwich is the
history of it. And, how the cleanliness and personal hygiene is important in hospitality industry.
In addition I also enjoyed in making my own pizza by putting toppings in a dough.

III. Reflections and Learnings During and After the Pizza Making
 What are the important things you have learned during and after the Pizza
Making?
The important things I have learned during and after the pizza making, the first thing is to have
personal hygiene by washing your hands before and after touching some things especially in
making a pizza in order to avoid cross contamination in our food. Second, I learned a lot from
manager Amy in assisting us in kitchen tour. Third, is to wear PPE such as apron, hairnet and
mask before making a pizza and entering a kitchen so that we can successfully made a pizza with
no bacteria present on it.
 How do you see yourself working in the hospitality and business industry in the
future?
• I see myself working in the hospitality and business industry in the future that I am
hardworking and have dedication to my work. Having a good salary working in a famous
cruiseline.
