    CAREERS IN FINANCE 1

    Abstract

    In the finance world there are many jobs people may find. For example a financial analyst is one

    job considered to be easy to get into after graduation. If someone is not looking for an entry level

    job after graduation and would rather try for a harder sought after job, then an investment banker

    would be an additional option. There are 161 opportunities in Minnesota to become a financial

    analyst, compared to 179-267 opportunities an investment banker has. Both careers face

    challenges where some people may struggle and some might not, A financial analyst may

    struggle with - limited decision-making authority, detail-oriented tasks, limited client

    involvement/interaction, career advancement, and last market and industry knowledge.

    Investment bankers may have a hard time with - immense workload, expectations of both

    customers and business partners, complexity of deals, communication and relationship building,

    and market volatility. There are many jobs for those seeking marketing and financial jobs, and

    financial analyst and investment banker are two quality ones.
