1. Define the control system, open and closed loop control system and give the examples with
diagram and detailed explanation.
2. Consider the circuit shown in Fig. a & b. obtain the transfer function using mason’s gain
formula.

3. Find the transfer function of the circuit shown in below fig.

4. Convert the block diagram into signal flow graph and find the transfer function.

5. Write the differential equations governing to the mechanical system shown in below fig. Also
draw the Force-voltage and Force-current analogous circuit and verify using mesh & nodal
equations.
6. Derive the transfer function of Armature controlled DC motor and draw its block diagram, also
draw the signal flow graph from the block diagram.
7. Derive the expression of the step response of a over damped second order system. Also derive
the expressions for the time domain specifications.
8. A positional control system with velocity feedback is shown in below fig. what is the response
of the system for a step input.

9. Consider the system shown in below fig. where zeta is 0.6 and natural damping frequency is
0.5 rad/sec. determine the rise time, peak time, maximum overshoot and settling time, when
the system is subjected to a unit step input.

10. Find out the position, velocity and acceleration error coefficients for the following unity
feedback systems having forward loop transfer function G(s) as
