A Time To Remember

Like Christmas and New Year, All Soul’s Day is memorable and
important to Christian Filipinos. It is a time when they go back to
their own provinces, remember friends and relatives who have passed
away, and recall fond memories when relatives were still alive.

The media, understanding the significance of the occasion,


releases tips and advisory for peace and order. Over the radio, in
television programs and in the newspapers are heard and seen the
folllowing tips fitting to be followed conscientiously:

1. Be safe. Stay with your group and when possible,


never be alone.
2. Light candles, but be sure not to cause accident.
3. Be quiet. Respect others who long for solemn
moments with the dead.
4. Extend help to those who need it.
5. Approach the right people assigned for security and
medical assistance.
6. Keep your trash and dispose it properly.

Doing the tips given here will help you spend special time to
remember the dead.
