Week 3 : LED Activity

Last November 23, 2023, the Group 1 first laid their hands on the
Arduino Hardware and Software. This activity is part of the 2nd Quarter
requirements for Creative Technology 10. Ma’am Ella, the Ctech teacher of
Grade 10, instructed the students of the needed materials for the activity,
and of course matched this with her overwhelming support and lended the
students with her strength to start the stated.
The group prepared 2 laptops for the installation of the Arduino Program.
The other group members took interest in the hardware and started opening
the kit and analyzing the parts. The group was divided into three: installing
the program, connecting the hardware to the laptop, and assembling the
parts of the Arduino. The group who is assigned to the program took care of
the coding. The second group took care of the USB ports and connectors,
and made sure everything was intact. While the last group took care of the
jumper wires, breadboard, and LED Pins.

The main objective of this first activity is to download the Arduino

program, assemble it, and then light up an LED. The group downloaded the
Arduino program and after coding it right, the group then successfully lit up
the LED.

Overall, this activity showed the importance of communication with your

groupmates and breaking the tension within the team. With this, everyone
learned the basic and had a sense of responsibility showered upon them.
The pupils learned how to manage their time wisely and tickled their brains
into trying another solution if the first one did not succesfully work.
