At the end of the lesson, the students must be able to identify the different
types of characters from the given stories.

masking tape and printed materials.

Instructions: The students will watch a short clip about “Romeo and
Juliet”.

2. Analysis
 Who is the hero in the story?
 Who is the villain in the story?

3. Abstraction
 What is character?
 What are the types of character by role?
 What is a Protagonist character?
 What is an Antagonist character?
 What are the different types of character by quality?
 What is a Dynamic character?
 What is a Static character?
 What is a Flat Character?

4. Application
 Directions: In every item is a name of a character from the popular
Filipino teleserye ‘Ang Probinsyano’. To the right are two options
for you to identify into what type of character it belongs to. Encircle

the letter of your choice and then give a short description. Number
1 is done for you.
