ANNUAL SCIENCE PROJECT:

“We learn about the social and natural environment”

Predominant Area: Natural and social environment area.

Foundation:

Throughout the year, the treatment of social sciences and natural sciences proposes
that children enrich, complex, expand and organize their vocabulary about the social
and natural environment. Children are expected to be able to describe the
environment with short words or phrases and begin to establish some links between
the social and natural aspects that make it up. This path will begin at the initial level
and will continue throughout the education they receive.

This time is not only for them to learn science and enrich their game, and also to train
more and more curious children, better observers, who wonder about reality, explore,
seek information, manage to establish relationships and articulate increasingly
complex materials:

● Recognize that some changes occur in objects and materials.

● Recognize objects as a product of performing different jobs and using different
materials, tools, machinery, techniques.
● Explore actively and systematically.

● Use instruments.
● Inquire about common characteristics of different animals.
● Compare the parts of the animals.
● Relate the characteristics of the members of the body and the different forms
of displacement.
● Teach them respect and care for living things.

● Recognize the body.

● Recognize changes and permanence throughout people's lives.
● Compare a problem that occurs in the garden with another area in which it also
occurs.
● Learn to respect physical differences, ways of life, interests and needs of
people.
● Learn the assessment of health care and the environment.
