GENERALLY ANY DISH WHEREIN BREAD SERVES AS A CONTAINER OR
WRAPPER FOR ANOTHER FOOD TYPE.

The role that sandwiches perform in a
meal is that they serve as transition to
regular meals or in some instances they
serve as the meal itself.
They provide a portable meal which
can either be filled with jams, savory
meats, eggs or vegetables.

They can be eaten for breakfast, lunch,


dinner or for snacking on.

They are also very easy to make and


take little to no time in making.
